BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Jessica Donald of Campbell University has been named to the Academic All-America® women's soccer third team by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Donald became the first Campbell student-athlete in program history to claim both Big South offensive player of the year and scholar-athlete of the year honors this season. She earned a 3.914 cumulative GPA in mechanical engineering and is currently pursuing her MBA with a 4.00 GPA.
On the field, Donald netted a team-high eight goals paired with six assists to total 22 points on the year. The Camels (11-3-4, 7-0-2) went unbeaten in Big South play and claimed their second-straight league regular season trophy in 2022.
A native of Tully, N.Y., Donald finished her career with 85 points off 28 goals and a program-best 29 assists.
Donald is only Big South women's soccer student-athlete to be named Academic All-American and just the fourth Campbell player to earn the honor joining Sara Davis ('01 & '02), Jennifer Feltis ('01), Christina Candeloro ('05) and Ashley Clark ('15).
