RADFORD, VA. - Campbell scored all four of its runs in the seventh inning to defeat Radford, 4-2 Friday at the Radford Softball Complex.

Campbell improves to 23-14 overall and 11-5 in the Big South while Radford drops to 12-23 overall and 5-11 in conference play.

The Highlanders struck first as Cori McMillan hit a solo home run in the first inning. Radford added another run in the fourth inning on Cassi Barbato's sacrifice fly.

In the seventh inning Campbell put together its rally starting with a single to left field by pinch hitter Sterling Hairston. Savannah White was hit by a pitch while a successful sacrifice bunt by Tyra Parker loaded the bases.

Alyssa Henault knocked a single to center field where all three runners scored, giving the Camels the lead. Another run was scored as Madeleine Whiteley took a hit by pitch with the bases loaded.

Alexa Pagano went 1-for-2 with one run and two walks while Tyra Parker finished 1-for-2 with a run and stolen base.

Kayla Howald (2-4) picked up the win in the circle after replacing starter Isabella Smith in the fifth inning. Howald allowed no hits, walked two batters and struck out one in the winning effort. Smith scattered four hits and struck out four in four innings of work.

Jessie Marvin (5-11) took the loss for the Highlanders after giving up four earned runs on five hits. Marvin walked four batters and hit four Camels with pitches while also striking out seven.
