BUIES CREEK, N.C. –
Sam Bischoff tallied five goals to lead 11 Campbell scorers, topping visiting Presbyterian 20-4 on Wednesday at Barker-Lane Stadium.
The Camels (10-4, 7-0 Big South) extended their program best win streak and record Big South start with their seventh consecutive victory, defeating the Blue Hose (2-13, 0-7 Big South) with CU's largest margin of victory this season.
Bischoff notched her 10
th hat trick and third game with five or more goals this season, adding four ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.
Mackenzie Kolesar also posted four points on three goals and an assist, while
Olivia Ohlmann registered three goals.
Grace Tompkins added three points off the bench on a goal and two assists, with
Kaitlyn Gallagher scored twice, the freshman's first career goals, and
Kyla Azzato tacked on a goal and an assist.
Katie Ochall and
Emma Strickland picked up three ground balls and caused two turnovers each, with Strickland adding three saves.
Abby Edmisten led PC with three points on a goal and two assists.
Campbell outshot the Blue Hose 34-8 on the day, taking a commanding 16-2 lead with a 13-0 run, capped by
Kirsten Murphy's goal with 4:12 to play in the third. CU also doubled up Presbyterian 24-12 in ground balls, with Campbell's opponent committing 20 or more turnovers for the fifth time in six games (21).
Next up, Campbell will welcome Furman on April 23 in its home finale. The Camels will round out the regular season on April 27 at Mercer.
