ELON, N.C. – The Campbell men's cross country team placed fifth and LaDerique McNeill finished tenth on the 6k course at the Elon Opener on Friday Night.
McNeill set a personal record with a time of 18:38.8, outpacing 49 other runners. Duke's Rory Cavan finished first with a time of 18:07.3.
The Campbell men finished fifth ahead of Pfeiffer and Bluefield State. Duke's men finished first followed by Elon in second and East Carolina in third.

th with a time of 20:24.9 in his first career race.

ndwith a time of 20.47.0.

th.
Samuel Passiglia rounded out the Camels in 52

Campbell's women did not compete at the Elon Opener. The Camels return to the XC course for the Adidas Challenge on Sept. 16
th in Raleigh, NC.
