BUIES CREEK, N.C. - After leading Campbell to a win over Charleston Southern and a strong effort at Radford, Christabel Ezumah has been named co-Big South Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
A junior forward from Sugar Hill, Ga., Ezumah led Campbell with 18 points and added four rebounds in a 63-46 win over Charleston Southern on Saturday.
On Wednesday, Ezumah recorded 12 points, seven rebounds and three blocks in Campbell's 54-53 loss at Radford. Ezumah made 13-of-16 shots from the field in 51 minutes of action across both games.
Overall, Ezumah averaged averaged 15.0 points on 81.3 percent shooting, 5.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks.
Gardner-Webb's Lauren Bevis, who scored 26 and 19 in wins over Longwood and Winthrop, shared the weekly honor with Ezumah.
The Camels (11-8, 6-2) return to action Wednesday in a 7 p.m. tip-off Orange Out game against rival High Point in Buies Creek.
