The Camels (11-5, 6-8) are tied for 6th place with USC Upstate in the Big South standings, while CSU (8-17, 4-10) is 8th. The top six seeds earn a first-round bye in the league tournament.
Campbell are coming off a 77-73 loss in double overtime Saturday at Gardner-Webb. In a game that included 13 ties and nine lead changes, CU trailed by 14 early in the second half before drawing even at 51 with 5:27 left in regulation. From that point, neither team led by more than three until the final margin.
Ricky Clemons led the Camels with 18 points,
Anthony Dell'Orso added 17 and
Joshua Lusane 13 off the bench.
Charleston Southern dropped its 4th-straight - and 8th in the last 9 - Saturday in a 90-71 loss to Radford. Tyeree Bryan led CSU with 17 points, but Radford shot 55 percent from the floor.
On Jan. 21 at Charleston, Clemons made a runner at the buzzer to lift Campbell over CSU 78-76 in overtime.
Jay Pal led CU with 16 points and 11 rebounds,
Devon Dunn added 15 points, while Dell'Orso chipped in 13.

- Campbell stands 6-6 at home this season, 3-4 vs. Big South teams at Gore Arena. CSU is 3-10 on the road, 2-5 at Big South foes.
- Fifth-year senior Ricky Clemons leads the Camels - and ranks 11th in the Big South Conference - with a 13.2 scoring average. Anthony Dell'Orso (11.1) is the 2nd-leading freshman scorer in the Big South. Jay Pal (10.5) also contributes double figure points per outing. Jesus Carralero averaged 10.6 points over the first five games, but has missed the last 21 due to injury.
- Sophomore Claudell Harris Jr., who scored 22 points in last month's loss to Campbell, is the second-leading scorer in the Big South (17.9), while sixth-man Tahlik Chavez ranks 15th (11.6) and leads the league in 3-point FG per game (2.9).
- For the third time this season, Anthony Dell'Orso was named Big South freshman of the week on Monday. A native of Melbourne, Australia, Dell'Orso averaged 21.5 points and nine rebounds, while shooting 59 percent (19-32) from the floor in a pair of games. He hit career highs with 26 points and 10 rebounds in an 82-66 win over High Point to lead the Camels to a season sweep of the Panthers. Dell'Orso made 11-of-14 shots, including 3-of-4 threes, pulled down 10 boards on the defensive end, dealt two assists and did not commit a turnover in 35 minutes. Three days later, he scored 17 points and pulled down 8 rebounds in CU's double-overtime loss at Gardner-Webb.
- Campbell owns a 31-28 edge in the all-time series with the Bucs, including a 13-7 advantage since Campbell re-joined the Big South Conference in 2011-12. The Camels have won 5-straight, 6 of the last 7 and 9 of the last 12 games against Charleston Southern.
- With 4 victories over its first 14 Big South games, CSU has already surpassed the program's number of league wins over the last 2 seasons. Charleston Southern finished 2-15 in the conference in 2020-21 and 1-15 in '21-22.
- Barclay Radebaugh, now in his 18th season at Charleston Southern, ranks 9th in all-time Big South coaching wins (88).
- The CSU Field House holds the distinction of being the 2nd-smallest capacity (881) home court in the Division I ranks (USC Upstate's Hodge Center seats 833). Campbell's old venue -- Carter Gym -- was the country's smallest men's setting (947 seats) before CSU reconfigured its building and Upstate joined D1.
