BUIES CREEK - Campbell returns to Jim Perry Stadium for the second straight weekend to host Butler for a three-game series. The Camels will look to build on a 3-1 start to the season that already features a series win over Rutgers and topping No. 11 East Carolina.

Series History
The Camels and Bulldogs have never met, making Butler the second first-time opponent for Campbell this season. The last Big East team Campbell faced was Villanova in 2020, in a game the Wildcats won 6-2. 

Know Your Opponent
Butler is 2-2 on the young season after splitting a four-game series on Opening Weekend with Fairleigh Dickinson. It was a high-scoring series, with Butler averaging nine runs a game, while also allowing 6.5 per game. 

Butler went 20-35-1, 4-16-1 in Big East play in 2022. The Bulldogs were picked to finish eighth in this year's Big East preseason poll 

The Bulldogs are led by first-year head coach Blake Beemer. 

Last Time Out
Campbell walked it off in 10 innings to take down No. 11 ECU Tuesday night at Jim Perry Stadium. Logan Jordan was the hero with a pinch-hit RBI single in with one out in the 10th to plate Lawson Harrill as the winning run. 

The Campbell bullpen duo of Ty Cummings and Aaron Rund was lights out, tossing 6.1 shutout innings allowing only one hit. 

Gameday Policies
Gates will open one hour prior to first pitch. Campbell's clear bag policy will be in effect. Parking is available at Jim Perry Stadium and behind Gore Arena.
