GREENSBORO, N.C. - Adrien Gameiro's goal in the 89th minute rallied Campbell to a 1-1 draw at UNC Greensboro Tuesday night at the UNCG Soccer Stadium.
Campbell (0-0-3) remains unbeaten on the season while the Spartans move to (0-2-2) overall.
Gameiro provided the late equalizer as the UNCG keeper allowed his cross to go between his legs and over the goal line.
The Spartans scored first in the 37th minute on a goal from Nabil Homssa assisted by Colton Sessoms.
The Camels outshot UNCG 6-2 in the second half, including putting two shots on target. Both sides finished even with eight shots apiece but the Camels held a 4-3 edge in shots on target and a 5-2 advantage on corners.
Campbell continues on the road as it heads to Drexel on Saturday for its first CAA road test of the season.
