KNOXVILLE, TENN. –
Mira Berglund is the individual leader, and Campbell is tied for second in the team standings following Monday's second round of the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate at Cherokee Country Club.
A sophomore from Oernskoeldsvik, Sweden, Berglund fired a collegiate-low, 5-under par 66 to move to 4-under par (72-66—138) on the par-71 Donald Ross design. She leads Emily Wilson of Memphis (70-70—140) by two strokes heading into Tuesday's final round. Berglund's bogey-free round included birdes on the third and fifth holes on the front side before she made back-to-back-to-back birdies on 11-12-13.

Alicia Olsson is tied for third place at 1-under 141 (73-68) after playing Monday's back nine 5-under par. After making the turn at two-over, Olsson eagled the par-five 11th, then birdied the 14th, 16th and 17th holes to post her ninth round of par, or better, golf this fall.

The Course – Cherokee Country Club (Par 71, 5965 yards): Founded in 1907 and extended to 18 holes in 1910 by famed architect Donald Ross, Cherokee Country Club is nestled in a bend of the Tennessee River with sweeping view of the Smoky Mountains. The course was redesigned over in the years, initially through Alex McKay in 1950 and Dan Maples made further revisions in 1985. In 2000, Ron Prichard (Donald Ross restoration architect) was appointed to restore the course to its former glory. Prichard employed old aerial photographs, and the course was opened to play in 2008. The club has played host to U.S. Open Qualifying and the Tennessee State Amateur.
