Fanni Gronlund shot a one-under par 71 Monday and Campbell moved up to seventh place on the team leader board after 36 holes of the Ironwood Invitational, hosted by East Carolina at Ironwood Golf & Country Club.
ECU (300-295—595) leads the 16-team field by one stroke over Georgia State (297-299—596) heading into Tuesday's final round. Campbell (313-295—608) and Elon (300-308—608) are tied for seventh, four shots clear of Louisville (311-301—612).
Gronlund (79-71—150) is tied for 14th in the 89-golfer field. She made four birdies Monday to move up 20 places on the leader board.
Isabella Hahne (75-78—153) is T28, while
Taylah Ellems (79-75—154) and
Izabella Grimbrandt (80-74—154) are tied for 33rd place.
Jade Potter is T42 (80-75—155) and
Evie McCallum (79-77—156) T47 with 18 holes remaining.
Barbara Car of Old Dominion (73-67—140) is the lone golfer below par (-4) in the field after firing a 5-under 67 Monday. Molly Hardwick of Charleston (72-72—144) and ECU's Nicole Nash (74-70—144) are even through 36 holes.
Campbell will be paired with Columbia, Appalachian State and Elon and start from the fifth through eighth tees in Tuesday's 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring is available at

The Course – Ironwood CC (Par 72, 6278 yards): Opened in May 1996, the Lee Trevino Signature Course is the centerpiece of the Ironwood community. Winding through 200 acres of rolling wooded terrain, the course reveals subtle nuances while providing scenic vistas of the Tar River, ponds and native wildlife. Trevino's design displays a masterful use of the contours of the land, creating a challenging, yet highly playable course. Each hole offers marvelous views of the rolling woodlands, the stands of old oaks and beech trees, the sun's reflection of the quiet waters of the Tar River and tributaries meandering through the course. The layout features Kato Crenshaw bent grass greens and 419 Bermuda grass fairways.
