Camels continue road trip at Evansville

Evansville, Ind. - The Camels remain on the road for the third game of a four-game road stretch at Evansville Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. CT at the Ford Center, and will be broadcast on ESPN+. 

Series History
Campbell is 0-3 all-time against the Aces, with all four previous meetings also on the road. The teams first met in 1995, and last squared off in 2022. The most recent game was a close 72-66 defeat. Ricky Clemons led Campbell that night with 15 points and was a perfect 5-5 from the floor.

Scouting the Aces
Evansville enters at 2-4 on the year and are coming off a 98-81 win over Green Bay on Friday night. Friday's win ended a three-game slide that included a loss at Ohio State. 

They are led by Gabriel Pozzato, a freshman from Italy, averaging 16.3 points per game. 

The Aces were picked to finish ninth in the Missouri Valley Conference preseason poll. Head coach David Ragland is in his third season at the helm.

Last Time Out
Campbell fell victim to some hot shooting by Ohio State in a 104-60 defeat Friday night in Columbus, Ohio. The Buckeyes connected on 11 of 13 three-point attempts in the first half to take a 54-27 lead into the break and never looked back. 

Bragi Gudmundsson led Campbell with 12 points off the bench, while Sinani, Frank, and Gregory all added 10 points each. Ohio State put six players in double figures, led by John Mobley Jr's 23. 

Looking Ahead
Campbell resumes action after Thanksgiving with a trip to Wisconsin to face Green Bay. Tip-off on Sat. Nov. 30 is set for 1 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
