Camels host Saint Francis on Sunday

BUIES CREEK - Campbell (1-1) returns to Gore Arena to host Saint Francis (0-2) Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. The Camels will look to avenge a road loss to the Red Flash last year as former SFU standout Cam Gregory now faces his former squad.

Brooks & Reid Hoop Room
Sunday will feature the first Brooks & Reid Hoop Room of the season. Hosted in the McCall Practice Gym, the Hoop Room is a pregame hospitality space for Camel Fans. In addition to a pregame meal, fans will hear from head coach Kevin McGeehan and other coaches from across campus throughout the season.

Series History
Campbell and Saint Francis met for the first time last year in Loretto, Pa., a 78-76 SFU win. The game served as a coming out party for Jasin Sinani, who posted the first 20-point game of his career.

Cam Gregory was SFU's leading scorer with 18 points. He's now started both games so far for the Fighting Camels.

Scouting the Red Flash
Saint Francis sits at 0-2 this season with a pair of losses to Dayton and Clemson thus far. SFU fell by 30 points to Dayton in the opener, and by 26 to Clemson on Friday night.

Both Jeremy Clayvile and Bobby Rosenberger III are averaging better than 10 ppg through two games. Clayville is doing so on 7-13 from downtown, a 53% clip from deep.

Saint Francis returns three starters from last year's squad, and was picked to finish eighth in the Northeast Conference this season.

Last Time Out
Campbell dropped a close one Wednesday night at UVA. The Camels hit 11 three-pointers, but had a tough time getting looks in the paint and shot just 37% for the night. The game was close throughout, with Campbell trailing by just five with less than two minutes to play.

Campbell hosts DII Newberry Wednesday night at 7 p.m. That game will be broadcast on FloCollege.
