Camels complete 2025 signing class

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell women's soccer head coach Jeff Gross announced the addition of four players to its 2025 signing class to compete this upcoming season.

Signees Sadie Badgett, Kate Latini, Taylor Walker, and Mya Wooten join Grace Bannon, Avery Garrett, Kira Moore, and Samantha Witte

Below is information on each of the signees and quotes from Coach Gross on each player.

Sadie Badgett
Denver, N.C. | Defender | Charlotte SA ECNL

"Yet another North Carolina product coming to us from a very good club known nationally. Sadie has worked diligently at her game and has evolved into a reliable, athletic, and sneaky tough defender. She is a good human who fits the personality and character of our locker room.  She will add depth to our defending group and has the versatility to play any spot in the back."

Kate Latini
New Port Richey, Fla. | Defender | Florida Premier ECNL

"We are looking forward to Kate joining the program. She's a steady competitor with versatility to play any spot in the back four. She will compete athletically in this conference and bring more depth to a gritty group of defenders. She is skillful and a sneaky good athlete. She brings even more character to a good group of young women."

Taylor Walker
Williamsburg, Va. | Midfielder | Richmond United ECNL

"Taylor is a versatile midfielder and forward who is technically clean. She is a very good athlete but it's hard to catch onto at first because she's so smooth. As we continue our reach into the northeast corridor, this is yet another player who comes south to play quality soccer in a challenging conference. She is a competitor, and her teammates will have to pay attention every day at practice."

Mya Wooten
Beckley, N.C. | Defender | NC Fusion ECNL

"Mya is an elite athlete who brings some things to our group that cannot be taught. She is a gritty competitor and a versatile player and will compete against everybody she comes up against. Positionally versatile it will be a good competition within our team when Mya is involved. A product of West Virginia and played club soccer in North Carolina."

Grace Bannon
McKees Rocks, Pa. | Midfielder | Pittsburgh Riverhounds ECNL | Montour High School

"We enjoy recruiting and working with 'glue' players. The types of people who do their work in a way that keeps everyone moving in the right direction. She loves to work, might be too selfless at times because she has the game to impact how a team competes, but it's understated. She comes to Campbell because she sees this as a great opportunity to get a quality degree and play in a great soccer environment."

Avery Garrett
Huntersville, N.C. | Midfielder | Charlotte Development Academy GA | Pine Lake Preparatory

"It did not take long to figure out she will thrive at our level. She is steady and goes about her business with her priorities in order. She loves the game and will push the people around her to be better every day. We like players who are 'sneaky good' and have not peaked yet. She is just getting started and we are excited she is a Camel!"

Kira Moore
Williamsburg, Va. | Defender | Richmond United ECNL | Lafayette High School

"Kira is a quality human being and loves the game. We enjoy that combination in the people we want in this program. Her work ethic will continue to help her grow at this level. She brings an athletic presence but has not peaked in her soccer, so the future is bright. She believes in this opportunity, to get a quality degree and compete in the game she enjoys!"

McKenna Vogel
Farmville, Va. | Forward | Richmond United ECNL | Prince Edward County High School

"McKenna is a sneaky competitor. She is such a good human off the field but has a ton of grit & fight when playing the game! She is a crafty player and gets better the closer she gets to the goal. We are looking forward to her joining a hungry group of forwards in our program. She believes in the type of environment Campbell creates for students and is hungry to thrive in our soccer environment!"

Samantha Witte
Hebron, Md. | Forward | Coppermine Soccer Club GA | Mardela Middle & High School

"We appreciate Sam for many reasons. She is a competitor, focused, driven and will put the team first. Because she has the best blend of work ethic and confidence, she'll make the people around her want to work to be better. They'll have to be better in order to keep up. Her teammates will appreciate her because her priorities are in order; be a good person, be a good student and be a good player! Roll Humps!"
