Overall

Gregory stated this about her performance, "This is my first collegiate start, first collegiate complete game. I'm proud. One thing I have been really working on is consistency and hammering the zone, and I did that to get as little hits, walks and runs as possible."

Coach Trena Prater is proud of the team's growth throughout the weekend, and Gregory on the mound against Coastal. Prater stated, "The defense is the main thing that has to be better. We have to have our pitchers back in order for us to win games. Error free defense is what wins championships, and we know that. Timely hitting with runners on second and third, those are things that help you win games. Right now we are not doing that, so it's back to the lab."

Lindsey Lumsden and Makayla McClain lead the team this weekend in batting averages, with Lumsden batting .571 and McClain batting .429.
