BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Winners of its last five, Campbell heads back out on the road for a pair of in-state matchups this weekend, visiting Elon and Davidson.
The Camels (5-1) will travel to Elon, N.C. to take on the Phoenix this Saturday, followed by a trip to Davidson on Sunday. The Camels handled The Citadel and Lees-McRae in last weekend's duals while their scheduled match against South Carolina State was postponed due to inclement weather.
Last weekend, Campbell swept Lees-McRae 7-0 and defeated The Citadel 6-1. After The Citadel took the doubles point, Campbell's
Tomas Balazi helped the Camels take the advantage and secured the win with his 6-2, 6-3 defeat of The Citadel's Noah Van Dyke.
Elon (1-3) earned its first victory of the season last week with a 7-0 win against South Carolina State. Davidson is 3-2 on the season, taking a 6-1 win against Belmont Abbey last week.
Following this weekend's duals, Campbell will travel to nearby NC State on Thursday, February 22.
