BUIES CREEK - Alex Fragasso was tabbed CAA Co-Player of the Week for his contributions against NC A&T last Wednesday, helping the Camels to their first CAA win of the season. 

The freshman pulled out a three-set thriller at No. 4 singles to help Campbell top North Carolina A&T, 4-3.. With the match tied at 3-3, the freshman outlasted Kaua Santos, 6-4, 6-7, 7-5 for the deciding point. Fragasso also helped the Camels secure the doubles point with a 6-1 victory at No. 3 doubles with partner Luke Tollenaar.

He's the first Camel to earn a weekly award this season. Fragasso now sits at 10-7 in singles matches on the year, and 5-2 playing in the No. 4 spot. 

Fragasso was named Co-Player of the Week alongside Josue Guzman of Drexel.

The Camels now await the start of the CAA Tournament, set for April 25-27 at Elon.
