MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Campbell earned its first dual win of the season, defeating Mount Olive 7-0 on Saturday at the John Neal Walker Tennis Center.
CU moved to 1-1 on the season, while the Trojans dropped to 0-1 in their dual opener.
Lukas Steffen and
Tomas Balazi secured the doubles point for the visiting Camels, downing Niklas Gruenefeldt and Adam Ibrahim, 6-4.
Noe Macquart opened singles play with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Kristoffer Dalbak before
Benjamin Maes and
Lukas Steffen locked in 6-2, 6-2 victories, notching the dual for the Fighting Camels.
Luke Tollenaar rounded out the shutout with a 6-4, 7-6 win.
The Camels will be back in action tomorrow, hosting Barton in their 2024 home opener (1:00 p.m.).
