Box Score BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell earned its second straight set win in two days, defeating Barton 7-0 on Sunday in its 2023-24 home opener at the Nesbit Tennis Center.

The Camels moved to 2-1 on the season, while Barton dipped to 0-3.

Campbell clinched the doubles point with Noe Macquart and Luke Tollenaar defeating Felipe Mioch and Brad Beck 6-3.

After Damien Nezar topped Hannes Tylehed 6-1, 6-0 to begin singles competition, Benjamin Maes overcame a first set loss, 4-6, to down Felipe Mioch 6-3, 6-0, to secure the dual win for CU. The match was one of three that went to three sets on the day.

Next up, the Camels will host North Carolina Central on February 8.
