BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell's
Benjamin Maes won his fourth consecutive match, highlighting a 6-1 decision for the Camels over visiting UNC Greensboro on Thursday afternoon at the Nisbet Tennis Center.
Campbell improved to 8-6 on the season, while UNCG fell to 4-10 overall.
The Camels captured the doubles point with
Damien Nezar and
Tomas Balazi's 7-5 win over Harrison Gwynn and Christopher Johns.
Lukas Steffen started singles play with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Tejas Wall, while
Noe Macquart clinched the match for CU, topping Luke Thomson by a 6-3, 6-2 score.
Next up, Campbell is set to host North Carolina A&T on Saturday, March 23, slated for a 2:30 p.m. start.
