BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell earned its fourth shutout win of the season, downing visiting Coastal Carolina 4-0 on Tuesday afternoon at the Nisbet Tennis Center.
The Camels improved to 9-6 on the season, while Coastal dropped to 5-9 overall.
In doubles play,
Benjamin Maes and
Lukas Steffen defeated Lucas Wayenburg and Carlos Berna Ruiz 7-5, and
Damien Nezar and
Tomas Balazi topped Maj Tomac and Guilherme Toresan 7-6 (8-6) to seal the opening point for the Camels.
Playing to clinch, Campbell swept singles competition, with
Lukas Steffen (5-3, ret.),
Tomas Balazi (6-3, 6-1) and
Damien Nezar (6-3, 6-2) all picking up victories, moving the Camels to 4-1 at home this season.
Next up, Campbell will travel to UNCW on April 5.
