Camels run rule College of Charleston 8-0 in five innings

BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Campbell defeats College of Charleston 8-0 in five innings. 

Charlie Montgomery hit an RBI single in the fourth inning to give the Camels their first run of the game. The Camels scored seven runs in the fifth inning to end the game. Lindsay Lumsden hit an RBI sac fly, Tyra Parker then scored on a passed ball, and Brooke Carey walked with bases loaded. Allyiah Swiney hit a two RBI double, and Sterling Hairston followed behind hitting a two RBI single to end the game. 

Payton Lemire (4-8) was charged with the loss after pitching 1.2 innings and allowing four hits, seven earned runs and no strikeouts. 

Isabella Smith (17-5) was credited with the win after pitching 5.0 innings, allowing one hit, no runs and two strikeouts.
