The Cougars are tied for first place in the league, while the Camels are sitting in seventh with four weekends remaining.

Lawson Harrill is coming off a highlight performance against No. 6 Duke, where he homered in each of his first three at-bats, totaling seven RBI.
Since returning from injury, Grant Knipp has homered in two-of-four contests. He now has 17 on the year, one behind Harrill. The teammates are tied for the team-lead in RBI with 44 apiece.
Cole Peschl is 10th in Division I in strikeout-to-walk ratio, and he leads the Camel pitching staff in strikeouts (63) and WHIP (1.29).

Campbell won the last matchup with Charleston in 2021. Overall, the Camels hold a 15-12 advantage in the series.
Know Your Opponent
The Cougars are on a nine-game win streak, with conference sweeps over Monmouth and William & Mary. They are tied with UNCW at the top of the conference rankings, but the Cougars took two-of-three when the teams faced off earlier this month.
Charleston has four batters hitting over .300, with Will Baumhofer leading the way at .339 and a .490 on-base percentage. Cole Singsank has the most home runs on the team with 10.
Each of the three projected starters boasts a sub-3.00 ERA and a WHIP below 1.20. Â Each has also been named CAA Pitcher of the Week this year, with Aidan Hunter earning the recognition this past week after allowing only three singles in eight shutout innings against William & Mary.
The Cougars are led by Chad Holbrook in his seventh season at the helm. The team was picked to finish fourth in the conference preseason poll.
Last Time Out
Campbell defeated #6 Duke 18-4 in seven innings on Tuesday. Harrill recorded three home runs and seven RBI in his first three plate appearances as Campbell jumped out to a 12-0 lead. Knipp and Charlie Meglio also homered in the contest. Simon Bargo earned the start and the win on a designated staff day.

The Camels have recorded 100+ doubles, home runs, stolen bases and HBPs in each of the past two seasons. They were the only team to accomplish this feat in either year.

Head Coach Justin Haire won his 300th career game on Saturday, March 16 against Valparaiso. In just over 10 seasons, the Camels have averaged over 30 wins a year during his tenure.
