Lawson Harrill has knocked 21 home runs this season. He's one away from tying his total from last year, and he's one away from tying the all-time program record for a career. That mark (50) was set by John Posey, who played from 1984-86.

Harrill is also the team leader in batting average, runs, hits, doubles, RBI, total bases and walks.

Series History

The two teams have faced each other over 100 times. Campbell has won the last four matchups, including two wins last year.

Know Your Opponent

UNCW is second in the CAA standings behind College of Charleston. Last weekend, the Seahawks won the series against William & Mary. On Tuesday, the team defeated No. 20 NC State on the road in extra innings.

Preseason all-conference selection Tanner Thach has played in all 45 games this year. He leads the team with 21 home runs, 56 RBI and a slugging percentage of .700.

RJ Sales is fifth in the country and leads the conference with eight wins on the mound. He's also first on the team with 65 strikeouts and a .188 opposing batting average. Zane Taylor is 5-0 on the year with an ERA of 3.16.

Campbell alum Randy Hood ('99) leads the Seahawks in his fifth season. The group was picked to finish second in the conference preseason poll, earning four first-place votes and four all-conference selections.

Last Time Out

The Camels fell to Liberty, 14-9, Wednesday night. Harrill hit two home runs, but Liberty scored nine runs in the first four innings, including five with two outs in the first, on their way to the win.

Century Club

The Camels have recorded 100+ doubles, home runs, stolen bases and HBPs in each of the past two seasons. They were the only team to accomplish this feat in either year.

Golden Spikes

Grant Knipp was named to the USA Baseball Golden Spikes Midseason Watch List.

Haire Wins 300

Head Coach Justin Haire won his 300th career game on Saturday, March 16 against Valparaiso. In just over 10 seasons, the Camels have averaged over 30 wins a year during his tenure.
