GREENVILLE, N.C. – Campbell men's and women's cross country teams posted a pair of strong team finishes Friday as the Camels competed at the Richmond Invitational and Dill Family Invitational.
The Camels combined for 12 top-20 finishes across the four races, including a second-place team finish by the men and a third-place finish by the women at the Dill Family Invitational.
Senior
Emily Pierce highlighted Campbell's performance at Richmond, recording the fifth-fastest 6K time in program history with a personal-best 21:20.8. Pierce finished fifth overall, improving her previous personal best by nearly 30 seconds.
Pierce's time moves her into fifth place on Campbell's all-time list. She previously held the sixth-fastest time in program history after running a 21:49.8 at the 2025 CAA Cross Country Championships.
MEN'S 8K (RICHMOND INVITATIONAL)
Campbell had three runners compete in the men's 8K at Richmond.
Freshman
Ethan Rich led the Camels for the second consecutive meet, finishing 55th in his collegiate 8K debut with a time of 26:43.4.
Sophomore
Jake Knight placed 78th in 27:31.3, while junior
Craig Costa finished 92nd in 27:52.7.
WOMEN'S 6K (RICHMOND INVITATIONAL)
Pierce led Campbell with her fifth-place finish and personal-best performance of 21:20.8.
Sophomore
Delaney Horton finished 22nd in 22:36.5, while junior
Emelyn Lacour rounded out Campbell's top three with a 39th-place finish in 23:01.2.
The Camels finished sixth as a team with 152 points.

Kylee Dinterman each recorded personal bests, while
Eleanor Angeles-Whitfield made her collegiate 6K debut.
WOMEN'S 6K (DILL FAMILY INVITATIONAL)
Campbell placed five runners in the top 20, finishing third as a team with 58 points, just one point behind second-place UNCW.
Senior
Samantha Sproul led the Camels with a sixth-place finish in a personal-best 23:23.4. Sophomore
Ava Childress followed in 10th at 23:51.1.
Sophomore
Avery Rohrer placed 12th in a personal-best 23:59.8, while freshman
Sarah Fedyna finished 14th in her collegiate 6K debut at 24:23.1. Senior
Sophie Cowart rounded out Campbell's top five in 16th at 24:44.5.
MEN'S 8K (DILL FAMILY INVITATIONAL)
The Camels wrapped up a packed Friday morning, finishing second as a team with 49 points, placing six runners inside the top 20.
Junior
Jackson Price led Campbell with a fourth-place finish in 26:23.3. Freshman
Brayden Ash and sophomore
William Sanchez also finished inside the top 10, placing ninth and 10th, respectively. Ash ran a 26:45.7 in his collegiate 8K debut, while Sanchez finished in 27:04.6.
Junior
Chance McCubbin added a 13th-place finish in his collegiate 8K debut at 27:38.1. Junior
Logan Ades placed 15th in 27:47.4, and senior Miles Hermann finished 18th in 28:01.0.
