BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell will finish out the 2025 season on the road at Towson on Saturday, November 22. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. at Johnny Unitas Stadium.

- Campbell and Towson are meeting for just the second time, with the Tigers taking last season's finale 45-23 in Buies Creek.

LAST TIME OUT
Landen Clark's 96-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Fuhrmann with 1:07 remaining in the fourth quarter lifted visiting Elon over Campbell 31-24 at Barker-Lane Stadium. The Phoenix led 17-3 at the half before Campbell (2-9, 2-5 CAA) stormed back with 21-straight points. Elon, however, found the end zone on its final two possessions, including Clark's 96-yard go-ahead strike.
The game was Campbell's sixth one-score game of the season (1-5), and third consecutive loss by seven or fewer points.
Clark passed for 228 yards and two touchdowns, completing 13-of-28 throws, while rushing for 59 yards and two more scores. Fuhrmann, meanwhile, hauled in three passes for 116 yards, including the 96-yard game-winner, while Jimmyll Williams rushed for 79 yards on 20 carries.
Asher Cunningham and Tony Hart led Elon with 11 tackles each.
Kamden Sixkiller paced Campbell with 268 yards on 23-of-32 passing, adding 28 yards rushing and another TD, while
Randall King posted 103 yards on nine receptions.
Jojo Pace led CU defensively with six tackles, while
Logan Livermon posted five stops with 1.0 sack.
LEADING THE CAMELS
Sixkiller has thrown for 1,896 yards and 11 touchdowns, completing nearly 62 percent of his passes, while King has hauled in 51 catches for 568 yards and five touchdowns.
JJ Cowan has also rushed for a team-high 544 yards, combining for nine touchdowns (eight rushing).
Defensively,
Logan Livermon owns a team-high 74 tackles, gathering a career-high 13 stops against William & Mary, with
Jojo Pace adding 70 tackles. DeVonyae Pettis has also posted 10.0 tackles for loss with 5.5 sacks.
LLANAS-WILCOX SETS CAMPBELL RECORD
Trayjen Llanas-Wilcox totaled 191 all-purpose yards, including a record-setting 90-yard punt return for a touchdown, helping Campbell erase a 17-3 halftime deficit against Elon.
The junior sparked Campbell's comeback, a 21-0 run, returning a punt 90 yards for a TD in the third quarter, cutting the deficit to 17-10 after an Elon 3-and-out. Llanas-Wilcox's return TD marked the longest punt return touchdown in Campbell history, and the program's first since 2017 and fourth of the modern era (since 2008).
Llanas-Wilcox added 67 yards in kickoff returns, including a 48-yarder, setting up Campbell's first points of the game, an
Alex Crabb field goal, in the first half. A Converse, Texas native, Llanas-Wilcox tacked on 28 yards receiving on three catches.
THE MATCHUP: TOWSON
The Tigers are 5-6 on the season and 3-4 in CAA matchups, in search of their first home win of 2025 (0-4). Last week Towson topped UAlbany 36-19 on the road.
Andrew Indorf averages 195.3 passing yards per game, adding 12 passing touchdowns on the year, while Jaceon Doss (658 yards, five TDs) and John Dunmore (608 yards, six TDs) have combined for 1,266 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. On the defensive side, Jasin Shiggs and Alfred Thomas each have posted 67 tackles, with Shiggs tacking on an interception and Thomas collecting 2.0 sacks.
Campbell is 0-1 all-time against Towson, with last season's meeting going to the Tigers, 45-23 in Buies Creek, to close out the 2024 season.
