LAST TIME OUT
Elijah Kennedy returned a pair of fourth quarter kicks for touchdowns, pushing North Carolina A&T past Campbell 28-24 on October 25. The Aggies trailed 21-7 with 13:12 on the clock in the fourth quarter after
Kamden Sixkiller's nine-yard touchdown pass to
Trevor Wilson gave Campbell a two score lead, but NC A&T's three fourth quarter TDs, including a punt return and a kick return from Kennedy lifted the Aggies over the Camels.
Kevin White's three-yard keeper at the 9:37 mark capped a seven-play, 86-yard drive to answer for the Aggies. After a six-play drive stalled for the Camels, Aiden Bonde's punt went to the A&T four yard line, but Kennedy's 96-yard return knotted the game at 21-all with 6:12 to play.
Campbell responded with a 12-play march to the A&T 21, draining 4:23 of clock, with
Alex Crabb giving the Camels the lead with a 38-yard field goal at the 1:49 remaining.
Kennedy, however, took the ensuing kickoff 85 yards for his second TD of the day, putting the Aggies on top 28-24. Campbell moved the ball into Aggie territory in just three plays, but Sixkiller's fourth down throw fell incomplete, with the CU drive stalling at the 44 yard line. Kennedy amassed 201 total return yards in the win, adding four catches for 27 yards.
