Camels host Elon Thursday night

BUIES CREEK - The Fighting Camels (12-11, 7-3) will look to avenge a previous CAA loss with a rematch against Elon Thursday night at 7 p.m. in Gore Arena. The game will be available on FloCollege.

Country Night
Campbell is bringing back a fan favorite from last season with Country Night. Free t-shirts for students, on-court line dancing at halftime, and a mechanical bull will all be part of the festivities.

Previous Meeting
Campbell fell 81-66 at Elon on Jan. 13. Colby Duggan had a big night with 29 points, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Elon's Sam Sherry and Nick Dorn, who scored 23 and 22, respectively. The Phoenix led wire-to-wire thanks to three three-pointers in the opening three minutes of the ballgame.

Last Time Out
Campbell cruised past Hofstra 75-52 Saturday afternoon. Campbell raced out to a 23-point halftime lead and led by as many as 35 in the second half to mark a second straight game holding a 35 point lead.

Colby Duggan and Nolan Dorsey led the way with 15 points each in a balanced effort that saw seven different players make a three-pointer during the game.

Scouting The Phoenix
Elon enters at 15-9, 6-4 in the CAA following a home win over Northeastern on Saturday.

The Phoenix, who line up as the tallest team in the nation, rank fifth nationally in rebounds per game and 10th in rebound margin. That mark showed last time as Elon was plus-nine on the glass against Campbell. The rebound effort is led by 7'4" Matthew Van Komen's 8.2 rebounds/game.

Campbell hosts NC A&T Monday night at 8 p.m. in a nationally televised contest on CBS Sports Network. Free t-shirts will be available for the first 300 students in attendance.
