Camels sweep Norfolk State

Box Score BUIES CREEK - Campbell downed Norfolk State 7-0 at home Thursday afternoon. The win is Campbell's third 7-0 sweep of the season, as CU improves to 6-5 on the season.

The Camels quickly grabbed the doubles point, with the teams of Prospalova/Ozel, and Kivity/Ofer each winning 6-2.

Campbell then swept the singles matches, with four of the six decided in two sets. Garcia earned the court one win in a second-set tiebreaker. Maras, Ozel, and Aneca all won in two sets on courts four, five, and six.

With the match already decided, Pieczynska and Kivity each played a tiebreaker in place of a full third set. Pieczynska won hers 11-9, while Kivity won 10-7.
