Camels earn spot in CAA Championship field

BUIES CREEK - The Fighting Camels (8-8, 3-2) earned a spot in the 2025 Women's CAA Championship Field following a selection by conference administrators. The selection committee chose its top six teams to compete for the championship, held April 25-27 at the Powell Tennis Center at Elon.

Campbell was selected as the No. 6 seed, and will begin its postseason journey April 25 at 10 a.m. against No. 3 Delaware. The sides did not face each other during the regular season. The Blue Hens own a 17-7 mark this season.

The winner of Campbell vs Delaware will advance to the semifinals to face No. 2 William & Mary on Saturday, April 26 at 10 am.

Campbell has now reached the postseason in each of its first two seasons in the CAA. The program picked up a quarterfinal win last season, defeating Towson 4-0, before falling to William & Mary in the semifinals.

The full field features top-seeded Elon (17-5), followed by No. 2 William & Mary (13-5), No. 3 Delaware (17-7), No. 4 Charleston (15-9), No. 5 UNCW (9-6) and No. 6 Campbell (8- 8).
