The Chanticleers (23-18) have posted the second-most wins in program single-season history and were seeded fourth in the Sun Belt tournament. The Chants fell to top-seeded James Madison in its conference tournament on Mar. 9.
Overall, it marks the fourth postseason tournament overall for the Camels in nine seasons under head coach Ronny Fisher after earning bids to the 2017 and 2019 WBI tournaments. Fisher and the Camels secured the program's first ever postseason wins in the 2019 WBI over Coastal Carolina and Tennessee Tech before falling at Appalachian State in the tournament semifinals.
The winner of Thursday's first round game will advance to play Southern Indiana (22-12) in the second round, March 23-25.
