Camels pick up win over A&T

Box Score BUIES CREEK - Campbell tallied another CAA win, downing NC A&T 6-1 on Saturday afternoon, and has now won three of its last four matches.

The Camels earned the doubles point with a 6-2 victory from Kivity and Garcia on court one, and a close 7-5 win by Maras and Prospalova on court two.

Sonia Pieczynska played the only three-set match of the day, winning 7-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-5) on court one.

Both Mollie Garcia and Ofer Kivity made quick work of their opponents, with Garcia winning 6-1, 6-3, and Kivity winning 6-3, 6-0.

Ilouna Aneca battled for the first set in her match, winning 7-6, (9-7) in the first, before settling in to take the second set 6-2.

NC A&T defaulted on court 6 to give the Camels one more point on the afternoon.

Campbell returns to action tomorrow at UNCW, beginning at 1 p.m.
