VESTAL, N.Y. - Campbell outscored Binghamton 10-5 in the second half on its way to a 16-13 win Wednesday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
Campbell (2-3) trailed Binghamton (2-4) 8-6 at the half before rattling off six straight goals across the third and fourth quarters to tie the game and take as much as a five goal lead.
Rasa Welsh totaled five goals and one assist while freshman Paige White achieved her first career hat trick behind three goals and one assist. Caroline Laur and Joslin Hanbury also added two goals each.
The Camels held a 5-2 lead early before the Bearcats closed the first half outscoring the Camels 6-1. Campbell scored three straight to open the third quarter before Binghamton answered with a pair of goals to retake the lead at 10-9.
Six different Camels scored goals as part of a 6-0 run to give Campbell its largest lead of the day at 15-10. Binghamton cut it to a two-goal deficit before Laur scored the dagger on an assist from McKenna Duncan with 1:14 to go.
Hailey Kohlmann led the charge on the defensive end, finishing with a game-high six ground balls and four caused turnovers. Sam Bischoff added one goal, one assist, two caused turnovers and three draw controls while Welsh added two ground balls and a team-high five draw controls.
Emma Blloshmi led the Bearcats with five goals and one assist while Carla Curth added three goals and Jess Robinson finished with three assists.
Campbell outshot Binghamton 32-23, including 26-17 on goal. The Camels forced 20 turnovers and went 20-for-21 on clears. The Bearcats won the draws 19-14.
Campbell remains on the road, returning to action on Friday at 2 PM against Lehigh.
