Box Score BETHLEHEM, PA. - Lehigh pulled away from Campbell in the second half, winning 16-11 Friday afternoon at the Ulrich Sports Complex.
Molly Snow led the Mountain Hawks (3-3) with four goals while Grace Martel and Gracie Shoup each recorded hat tricks. Rasa Welsh led Campbell (2-4) with a team-high six points, totaling four goals and two assists.Â
Lehigh jumped out to a 6-1 advantage before the Camels rattled off four straight goals to end the first half and added a fifth out of halftime to tie the game at 6-6. The Mountain Hawks scored the next three goals in a three minute span to regain the lead and outscored the Camels 4-2 in the final quarter.Â
Kacie Wines totaled a game-high seven points on two goals and five assists for Lehigh while Snow finished with seven draw controls.
McKenna Duncan finished with two goals and one assist, Caroline Laur had one goal and an assist while Sam Bischoff finished with a pair of goals. Brooke Cressy led the Camels with three caused turnovers and three ground balls while Welsh ended the game with 10 draw controls.Â
Julia DeLitta made seven saves in the nets for the Mountain Hawks. Emine Luznar, who made a terrific save on a free position attempt at the end of the first half, finished with four saves while Alana Lepore made three.
Campbell returns to action on Monday as it hosts nationally-ranked Duke for Education Day at Barker-Lane Stadium.Â
