Camels wrap up season at William & Mary

BUIES CREEK - Campbell heads to Williamsburg, Va. to round out the 2025 regular season against William & Mary. The game is set to begin at noon and will be streamed on FloCollege. 

LAST TIME OUT
  • The Camels fell to No. 19 Stony Brook 19-12 on Senior Day. The Camels led by as many as three and by a goal at the half up 8-7, but were outscored 9-0 in the third quarter leading to the defeat.
  • Sam Bischoff led the Camels with four goals, and McKenna Duncan turned in a first-half hat trick. 
STAT LEADERS SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
  • William & Mary sits at 5-10, 1-6 in the league, and have lost five in a row entering Saturday's contest. The Tribe's lone conference win was a 17-11 victory over Monmouth on Mar. 24.
  • Paige Gilbert leads the way for the Tribe with 49 points, currently second on the team in both goals (33) and assists (16).
  • W&M is led by Kelyn Freedman in her first season as head coach in Williamsburg.

  • Campbell faces William & Mary for a fifth straight season on Saturday. Campbell won last year's meeting with a thrilling 14-13 overtime win, thanks to Ally Heath's winner just 52 seconds into the extra period.

HEAD COACH DAWN EASLEY
  • Head coach Dawn Easley (Pfeiffer '05) is in her 12th season at the helm of Campbell Lacrosse
  • Easley owns a 86-111 record at Campbell and a 144-142 record overall after spending five seasons as head coach of her alma mater Pfeiffer from 2008-13
  • The Camels improved its win total in three straight seasons under Easley from 2021-23, setting a program record with 12 wins in 2023.
