Cross Country announces 2025 schedule

Fighting Camels set to compete in six meets

BUIES CREEK – Campbell head cross country coach Evan Darm announced the 2025 cross country schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The Camels are set to compete in six events this season.

"I want to give opportunities to athletes to continue to grow and develop and for us to learn who our true top five runners are ahead of the post season," Darm said.

The Fighting Camels open its season with three straight meets in its home state, beginning Aug. 29 at the Friday Night Lights Elon XC Opener in Burlington, North Carolina.

The Camels return to competition on Sept. 19 at the Adidas XC Challenge in Raleigh before competing at the ECU Pirate Invitational on Oct. 3. Campbell wraps up its regular season at the Upstate Invitational in Spartanburg, South Carolina on Oct. 18.

Campbell begins its postseason slate at the CAA Championships on Oct. 31 at Ocean County Park in Lakewood, New Jersey, before the NCAA Southeast Regional on Nov. 14 in Charlottesville, Virginia.

"The race schedule builds as we move through the fall, with the bigger invitationals coming up in October ahead of [the] CAA [Championships] and then hopefully onto the NCAA Southeast Regional," Darm said.

"Ultimately, this is a group of student-athletes that I believe in, and I am excited to see them continue to lead the CU program into the future," Darm added.
