Box Score EVANSTON, ILL. – The Camels saw their seven-match win streak snapped in a 3-0 defeat at Northwestern in the final non-conference match of the season.
Campbell finishes non-conference play at 8-3 with all three losses coming to "Power 4" programs (Clemson, South Carolina, Northwestern). Northwestern improves to 10-2 with the win.
The Camels had few answers for the Northwestern attack in the first set, with the Wildcats hitting .455 to claim the opening set 25-12.
Campbell hung closer in the second set, but couldn't do enough in a 25-18 second set loss. The Camels committed 10 attack errors in the second frame, limiting chances to take the lead through the middle stages of the frame.
Northwestern finished off the match with a 25-19 win in the fifth set. Campbell again stayed close for most of the set and trailed just 17-16, but a late surge from the hosts was enough to put away the match.
Gwen Wolkow led Campbell with 11 kills, while Daca added eight.
Hannah Pattie notched a double-double with 15 assists and 11 digs, both team-highs.
Campbell hit a season-low .084 as a team on the day while Northwestern hit .291.

Hannah Pattie both earned spots on the Northwestern Invitational all-tournament team. Wolkow amassed 20 kills (3.33 k/s), while Pattie tallied 32 assists (5.33 a/s).
The Camels are back in action next Friday at William & Mary to begin CAA play.
