RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell opened the season with two matches against No. 9 NC State on Friday at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
Thomas Drapeau earned a win in his lone singles match of the day, defeating No. 85 William Manning in three sets.
After dropping the first set of the match, Drapeau bounced back with a 6-4 win in set two and a two-point win in the tiebreaker against the only ranked Wolfpack player that participated in the season opener.
Nine Camels saw action in the season opener, and each player won multiple games on the day.
The Camels are back in action Monday afternoon against Gardner-Webb at the James Nisbet Tennis Center in Buies Creek.
