Antonio Minnifee joins Campbell staff

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Antonio Minnifee has joined Campbell's football coaching staff as outside linebackers coach, announced today by head coach Braxton Harris.

Minnifee comes to Campbell after two seasons as a defensive assistant at Pitt. During his time in Pittsburgh, the Panthers totaled 15 wins, with appearances in the GameAbove Sports Bowl (2024) and the Go Bowling Military Bowl (2025).

Prior to Pitt, Minnifee spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, UT Martin, joining the staff during the summer of 2022. With the SkyHawks, Minnifee worked with the linebackers and special teams units in 2022, before spending 2023 with the tight ends.

Minnifee joined the Skyhawk coaching staff after a four-year playing career at UT Martin. The defensive lineman appeared in one game from 2018-21, making an appearance against Tennessee State in 2020. Prior to UT Martin, Minnifee was a walk-on at Tennessee in the class of 2017.

As a player and coach, Minnifee was a member of three conference championship teams at UT Martin, all with current Campbell defensive coordinator Brandon Butcher, including an OVC title as a senior, followed by another OVC crown in his first season on staff. The SkyHawks then captured their first Big South-OVC conference championship in 2023.

A native of Nashville, Tenn., he majored in interdisciplinary studies at UT Martin.

During his prep career, at Wilson Central High School, Minnifee was a two-time all-county selection and picked up an All-Region 4 6A honor.
