Jasmine Nivar led the Camels with 20 points against Tulane. She's the first freshman to score 20 points in a season opener at Campbell. She became just the fifth freshman since 2009 to score 20 points in any game.

Gianni Boone was named to the preseason All-CAA First Team. The Camels, who finished last year as the CAA runner-up, were picked to finish fourth in the preseason coaches' poll.

Ronny Fisher enters his 10
th season at the helm in Buies Creek. He has amassed a 185-111 record and has twice led Campbell to a program record 23 wins in a season.
