FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – Campbell men's and women's cross country teams competed on Friday morning at the CAA Cross Country Championships at Bethpage State Park.
The women's team placed sixth, recording the best finish in program history at the CAA Championships. The men tied their program-best eighth-place finish from a year ago.
Emily Pierce continued her stellar senior campaign, finishing fifth overall in the women's 6K with a personal-best time of 20:55.7. Her top-fifteen finish earned her all-conference honors, marking Campbell's first all-conference selection in cross country since joining the CAA. Pierce's time also ranks third in program history.

"I am really proud of the men," head coach Evan Darm said. "We have had our share of ups and downs all season, but we had some freshmen and sophomores really step in some key roles at the right time of the year. The future is bright, we just need time to keep working."
WOMEN'S 6K

Junior
Emelyn Lacour, sophomore
Lily Kelpin and junior
Jenna VanRyn each recorded personal-best times to round out Campbell's top five. Nine of Campbell's 10 women's competitors recorded personal-best times in the 6K.
The Camels finished sixth overall with 163 points, improving on last season's eighth-place finish.
"The ladies executed great race plans," Darm said. "I couldn't be more proud of their racing and execution. In my opinion, this is likely the most complete women's team in Campbell history one to ten and I cannot wait to see where they go."
