Paige White had her second hat trick of the season to lead CU to a 13-4 win over Gardner-Webb in its home opener on Wednesday. She also recorded three assists to pace the offense.

Hailey Kohlmann had a strong defensive performance, recording five ground balls and five caused turnovers. The Camels were not show a yellow or red card in the contest.

Scouting the Opponents
High Point dropped its season opener to #14 Duke last Friday, 14-6. Reese Dowgiallo scored three goals, but the Panthers committed 19 turnovers.

Five Panthers earned spots on the Preseason All-Big South Team, including goalkeeper Ava Welsh, the most of any team in the conference. The team was picked to finish second in the conference's preseason poll.

Early Season Hat Tricks
Sophomore
Paige White has recorded a hat trick in both games this season. She opened the 2026 campaign with four goals against Jacksonville, followed by three goals and three assists against Gardner-Webb.

Fifth-year defender
Hailey Kohlmann was selected as an honorable mention on the All-CAA Preseason Team. She was first on the team last year with 37 ground balls and fifth in the CAA in ground balls per game.

Looking for Difference Makers
The Camels are looking to replace two program greats with the departure of
Rasa Welsh and
Sam Bischoff. Welsh is third all-time in career assists, and Bischoff is second all-time in career goals. Both players ended their careers top five in career points.
