HIGH POINT, N.C. – Junior
Caroline Laur scored two goals in the final three minutes, pushing Campbell to an 11-10 win against High Point at Vert Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Campbell improved to 2-1 after Laur's day ended with three goals and two assists to lead the Camels. High Point now sits at 0-2.
Freshman
Emma Jankowiak added two goals and two assists, while
Delaney Nicolaus added two goals and an assist to her 2026 campaign. Four other Camels recorded goals on the day to lift CU to its second win all-time against the Panthers.
The Camels trailed 8-6 entering the fourth quarter, but goals in the first five minutes of the frame from Nicolaus and Laur tied the game at eight with 10 minutes to play. The teams exchanged goals over the next six minutes with High Point taking a 10-9 lead on a goal from Bella Germani.
With 3:01 to play,
McKenna Duncan found Laur left alone in front of goal and made the quick pass to enable Laur to tie it up.
Drew Watkins won the ensuing draw control to give the Camels possession, which Laur converted in a similar fashion to the previous goal thanks to an assist from Jankowiak with 1:37 to play. Watkins won the draw control once again, and CU was able to hold possession until the final 10 seconds to put the game away.
High Point jumped out to a 4-1 lead after the first quarter thanks to two goals from Lily Trout. Campbell responded with four goals in the second to bring its halftime deficit to just one, 6-5.
Goalkeeper
Adria Welsh recorded nine saves in her second win of the season, the same as her counterpart.
Hailey Kohlmann continued her strong start to the season, recovering four ground balls and causing two turnovers.
Kendall Wilson created three turnovers and swiped one ground ball.

Campbell's road trip continues with a road game against Winthrop on Wednesday. The game is scheduled to begin at 4:00 and will be streamed on ESPN+.
