Camels defeat North Carolina Wesleyan

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – The Fighting Camels came away with a 5-2 victory over North Carolina Wesleyan, Friday afternoon on short notice at the Slick Family Foundation Tennis Center.
 
The Bishops started the scoring with a pair of 6-4 decisions in doubles play.
 
Campbell responded by winning the first four singles matches to clinch the victory. Alex Fragasso and Matias Lofink each won in two sets, while Thomas Drapeau and Aleksandar Hudjec bounced back from first-set stumbles to win on courts one and three, respectively.
 
Freshman Arush Gupta closed out the day with a three-set win on court six. His counterpart, Indrek Raudkivi, won the first set 6-4, but Gupta bounced back with a pair of 7-5 win in sets two and three to finish the day.
