BUIES CREEK — Carlos Lugo's RBI double in the eighth inning secured the 5-4 win over High Point on Tuesday night at Jim Perry Stadium.
Campbell improves to 30-14 overall while High Point falls to 29-15.
After two scoreless innings, High Point (29-15) struck first in the third on an RBI double to right center to take an early 1-0 lead.

Andrew Schuldt tied things up on an RBI double to left center to score
Joey Morton. Morton led off the inning with a base hit before scoring from first on the play.
The Panthers took the lead working three walks to load the bases before a the runner on third advanced on a double play groundout to make it 2-1.
The Camels once against answered in the seventh to take the lead, 3-2.
Mike Murphy led off the inning with a 14-pitch walk and
Carlos Lugo tallied a base hit to put runners on.
Jett Music tied things up on a RBI double before
Jonah Oster put the Camels in front on an RBI base hit.
High Point pushed back in front in the eighth scoring a pair of runs on two hits to go up 4-3.
Campbell again answered with a pair of runs to take the lead for good in the eighth.
Logan Chapman led off the inning recording a triple to right center before scoring on Murphy's RBI groundout.

Jett Music (1-1) picked up the win in relief going 2.0 innings allowing just one hit and picking up two strikeouts. Campbell used a combined six pitchers in the contest that allowed four runs on five hits and struck out 11 batters.
Lugo and Chapman led the offense with multi-hit performances as Lugo extended his hitting streak to nine games.
