Four Camels named WGCA All-America Scholar

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Four Campbell University student-athletes have been named All-America Scholar by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.  Izabella Grimbrandt, Fanni Gronlund, Isabella Hahne and Linn Svedlund were recognized for the 2025-26 academic year.

The criteria for selection to the All-America Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 while competing in a minimum of 50 percent of the team's rounds through the conference championship.

Grimbrandt graduated in May as an international business major while also earning her MBA in the process.  She was named All-America Scholar for the third time and is a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree.

A native of Stockholm, Sweden, Grimbrandt played in 31 events in her career and posted a 76.55 scoring average (31st in school history).  She produced two T14 finishes at the CAA Championship (2024, 2026).  Grimbrandt earned league academic honors in each of her five collegiate seasons and posted a career-best T7 finish at the 2024 Clemson Tiger Classic.

Grönlund, who hails from Kirkkonummi, Finland, was named All-America Scholar for the second-consecutive season.  She has already compiled the 12th-lowest scoring average (min. 50 rounds) in school history (74.93).  She has posted three top-10 finishes over her first 20 collegiate outings while pursuing a double major in economics and accounting.

She finished among top-10 golfers in both '25 (T10) and '26 (7th) CAA Championship and was named to the 2026
All-CAA second-team.  As a freshman in 2025, Grönlund was named CAA rookie of the year.  She has earned CAA Commissioner's Honor Roll with Distinction status in each of her four collegiate semesters.

Hahne graduated in May with a degree in psychology.  She was named All-America Scholar and Academic All-District honors for the second-straight year.  A native of Kungsbacka, Sweden, Hahne completed career ranked 13th on the school career scoring average list (75.052) with seven top-10 finishes.

Hahne earned CAA Commissioner's honor roll status for the third-straight year in 2026.  She posted 26 career par, or better, rounds and played in two NCAA Regionals (2023, 2025).  A 2025 CAA second-team all-conference member, she was also chosen as the 2023 Big South freshman of the year.

A native of Uppsala, Sweden, Svedlund competed in seven events and posted a 78.2 stroke average as a freshman during the 2025-26 season.  She earned her best finish (T27) at the Edisto Island Invitational and played par, or better, golf twice – including season-best even-par 71 at Tennessee's Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate.  She is majoring in finance.

During the 2025-26 academic year, Campbell's women's golf team combined to post a 3.803 grade-point average, the highest among all 21 Fighting Camel varsity programs.  Each of the eight golfers on the women's roster also earned GPAs of 3.0 or higher during the spring semester, while Grimbrandt, Gronlund and Svedlund posted perfect 4.0 marks.

Since 2011, Campbell student-athletes have earned WGCA All-America Scholar honors 41 times.
