BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell head cross country coach Evan Darm and the Campbell men's and women's cross country teams have announced their schedule for the 2026 season. The Camels are set to compete in seven events this season.

"This 2026 schedule will allow us to showcase our strengths this fall," Darm said. "We have a deep roster of highly motivated runners who truly want to put Campbell University on the map."

Campbell opens its slate for the second straight season at the Elon Opener, hosted by fellow CAA competitor, Elon University in Burlington, North Carolina.

The Camels continue their opening stretch of competition in North Carolina on Sept. 18 at the Adidas XC Challenge, hosted by NC State at the WakeMed Cross Country Course in Raleigh.

Campbell will compete in two events on Oct. 2, with the Richmond Invitational, hosted by the University of Richmond, and the Dill Family Invitational, hosted by East Carolina in Greenville, North Carolina.

"One meet that we want to highlight in the regular season is the Richmond Invitational," Darm said. "This will be the 2027 NCAA Regional Championship venue and we want to gain familiarity with the course. This program is positioned to keep rising, so gaining championship experience is crucial."

Campbell will conclude the regular season in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Royals Cross Country Challenge, hosted by Queens University of Charlotte.

The Camels begin their postseason slate at the CAA Championships on Oct. 30 at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, N.Y., hosted by Hofstra, before the NCAA Southeast Regional on Nov. 14 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, hosted by USC Upstate.

"Last fall, we made the trip to Spartanburg to learn the course for this year's NCAA Southeast Regional," Darm said. "I am excited to see how the team will apply what we learned as we embark on postseason racing this fall."
