BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell University and Lane & Associates Family Dentistry, one of North Carolina's largest family dental practices, have announced a significant partnership.

The generous gift is highlighted by a new, state-of-the-art videoboard manufactured and installed by Daktronics at Barker-Lane Stadium, home of Campbell's football and lacrosse programs. The partnership also provides additional support for the Campbell Football program through a dedicated special purpose fund, significant commitment to support Campbell's football NIL efforts, and game day fan activations.

"For me, this partnership is about being part of a journey I've watched for decades," said Dr. Lane, Chairman of the Board and Owner of LAA. "I've enjoyed watching Campbell grow and provide opportunities for students and families throughout the surrounding counties. I've supported the school since it was Campbell College, and it has been special to watch Campbell University grow alongside Lane & Associates. We've both continued to grow, evolve and create opportunities for the communities we serve!"

The partnership builds upon a long-standing relationship between Lane & Associates and Campbell University. Dr. Lane has been a longtime supporter of Campbell University and its athletics programs, being half of the namesake of Barker-Lane Stadium, named along with fellow Fuquay-Varina businessman, founder of the Bob Barker Company and longtime Campbell supporter, Bob Barker, in 2008.

As part of the partnership, Lane & Associates will sponsor the new scoreboard at Barker-Lane Stadium, featuring state-of-the-art Daktronics equipment and prominent LAA branding across the back panel of the scoreboard, providing visibility to the heavily traveled U.S. Route 421, which runs through the edge of the University's campus.

LAA will also have a presence throughout Campbell football home games through various fan activations and Tailgate Town, creating opportunities to connect with fans and the surrounding community throughout the season. The partnership also provides additional support for the Campbell Football program through a dedicated Lane & Associates special purpose fund. In addition, Lane & Associates has made a significant future commitment to support Campbell's football NIL efforts.

The new end zone video display will measure 24 feet high by 42 feet wide and feature a 10-millimeter pixel spacing to deliver excellent image clarity and contrast with wide-angle visibility to Fighting Camels fans and student-athletes throughout the stadium. The display features Daktronics' industry-leading environmental protection, ensuring it operates as expected in the outdoor elements at Barker-Lane Stadium.

The display comes with all the expectations of today's technology at live sporting events, including variable content zoning. This feature allows the display to show one large image or multiple zones of content, including live video, instant replays, statistics, game day information, graphics, animations and sponsorship messages.

Included with the equipment installation, Campbell University will receive a digital content package produced and delivered by Daktronics Creative Services.

The Camels will make their 2026 home debut on Saturday, September 5, at 3:30 p.m. at Barker-Lane Stadium, hosting Western Carolina. The home opener is also our Youth Sports and Faith & Family Day. Check out all game day dates and kickoff times at GoCamels.com.
