Box Score MANHATTAN, KAN. – Campbell suffered its first loss of the season in a four-set defeat at Kansas State Sunday afternoon. The Camels nabbed the second set, but couldn't keep pace with the Wildcats.
 
Errors held Campbell back in the first set, committing six attacking errors and five service errors en route to a 25-17 first-set loss. K-State kept things clean and hit .400 in the opening frame.
 
Campbell bounced back and evened the score with a 25-20 second set win. The Camels never trailed in the set, and got kills from Wheeler and McMillan to close out the frame. The set win was the first over a Power 4 opponent since 2022 when the Camels took a set from Syracuse.
 
It was all Wildcats the rest of the way, taking the third set 25-17 and the fourth and final set 25-11.
 
Emma McCartney led the Camels with 10 kills and 9 digs, both team highs on the day. Three other Camels added six kills apiece.
 
Kansas State was led by Addison Massey's 10 kills.
 
Campbell heads to Atlanta next to face Georgia Tech, Southern Illinois, and Xavier across Friday and Saturday.
