YORKTOWN, IND. – Miah Rivas is second on the individual leader board and Campbell is third in the team standings following Monday's first two rounds of the Brittany Kelly Classic, hosted by Ball State at The Players Club at Woodland Trails.
 
Rivas is one of just four golfers in red numbers through 36 holes at 2-under-par 142 (70-72).  Riley Pechinski of Ball State (68-69—137) in the individual leader at 7-under heading into Tuesday's final round on the 6291-yard layout.
 
Campbell's Yukino Kudo (77-73—150) is T20, Jade Potter T24 (75-77—152), while Fanni Gronlund (77-76—153) and Linn Svedlund (79-74—153) are tied for 27th.  Competing as an individual, Louisa Bloomfield is T79 (87-76—166) through two rounds.
 
The host Cardinals top the 14-team standings at 1-over 577 (294-283), 10 shots clear of Morehead State (297-290—587) and 17 in front of Campbell (299-295—594).  Green Bay (600) is fourth and IU Indy (609) through 36 holes.
 
Rivas played par, or better, golf for the third and fourth time through five rounds this season.  She and Gronlund are T2 in par-5 scoring (-2).  Rivas is T4th in the 91-golfer field with 7 birdies.  Svedlund made 25 pars in 36 holes Monday, T5th in the event.
 
Campbell will be paired with Ball State, Morehead State and Green Bay for Tuesday's final round, which begins with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.  Live scoring will be available at Scoreboard.clippd.com.
 
The event is named in memory of former Ball State standout Brittany Kelly, who was named the 2022 Indiana PGA Golf Professional of the Year. The first female recipient of the honor, which originated in 1955, Kelly was a three-time All-Mid-American Conference selection and a two-time All-American Scholar during her Cardinals career.  After a battle with ovarian cancer, she passed away at the age of 32 on Aug. 31, 2021, just prior to her induction into the Ball State Athletics Hall of Fame.
