BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Unbeaten against FCS opponents this season, Campbell returns to Barker-Lane Stadium on Saturday, September 19, hosting North Carolina A&T to open CAA Football play. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. for 910 Night, the Camels' only home night game of the 2026 season, presented by Christie Yarbrough and RE/MAX United.

Fans are encouraged to wear black to help "Black Out" Barker-Lane Stadium, and stick around after the game for a special Postgame Fireworks show.

The first 700 fans will receive a special edition 910 Night shirt, and early arriving fans will also get a Fighting Camels themed cowbell, courtesy Christie Yarbrough and RE/MAX United.

HOME GAMES TO BE BROADCAST ON LINEAR TV
For the second consecutive season, Campbell Athletics is partnering with Gray Television and WRAL to broadcast every Campbell Football home game in the Raleigh and Eastern North Carolina television markets during the 2026 season. The matchups will air on WITN 7.2 MyNetworkTV in Greenville, and WRAL 5.2 in Raleigh throughout the season. This exciting collaboration will bring live coverage of all five home games from Barker-Lane Stadium directly to viewers across the region. The remaining scheduled broadcasts include: 

• September 19, 6:00 p.m.: NC A&T at Campbell 

• October 17, 3:30 p.m.: Towson at Campbell 

• November 7, 1:00 p.m.: Stony Brook at Campbell 

• November 21, 12:00 p.m.: Monmouth at Campbell

CLEAR BAG POLICY
Campbell University Athletics implements a clear bag policy that regulates the size and type of bag that may be carried into Campbell Athletics facilities, including Barker-Lane Stadium. Fans are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the new policies before arriving at the venue to minimize time spent searching bags at security checkpoints.

Bags that are approved include:
• Clear tote bags made of plastic, vinyl or PVC that do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″
• One-gallon clear plastic zip-style bags
• Small purses or clutch bags that do not exceed 6.5″ x 4.5"
• Medical or diaper bags must be accompanied by a child

Bags that are not permitted include:
• Backpacks
• Printed pattern or tinted plastic bags
• Drawstring bags
• Fanny packs
• Camera or binocular cases
• Large purses or bags

TAILGATE TOWN IS BACK
For the fourth straight year, Tailgate Town is your stop before heading inside Barker-Lane Stadium.

Tailgate Town is reimagined and will be better than ever for game days during the 2026 season, featuring a brand new look, and a more interactive experience, including various campus and community representation and a new big screen LED screen featuring football action from The Creek and beyond.

Fun for the whole family, Tailgate Town also includes food trucks, inflatables, yard games, and more. The football pregame experience, which debuted in 2023, is located in the same great, convenient location as previous seasons, just outside the main entrance gates between Barker-Lane Stadium and Stadium View Apartments.

Tailgate Town fires up two hours before kickoff all season, closing just prior to kickoff.

QUICK HITS

• For the third straight week, and for the first time since 2024, Campbell is receiving votes in the FCS top-25 polls. CU picked up votes in both the media and coaches polls this week, and sit just outside the top-25. Campbell has never held a top-25 ranking in football.
• At Florida, Campbell took on an FBS opponent for the 15th time in its history. Florida marked the Camels' fourth P4 conference opponent, and their first against an SEC member.
• The sellout Campbell/Florida game at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium was attended by 88,863 fans, the largest crowd Campbell has ever played in front of at any venue in its history, surpassing last season's game at NC State (56,919, 10/4/25).
• Heading into Week 3, game four of the season, Campbell owns one of the nation's top offenses, ranking 14^th in the FCS in passing offense at 273.7 yards per game and 29^th in total offense at 417.3 yards per game. The team also ranks 16^th in time of possession (33:30).
• Individually, QB Kamden Sixkiller ranks among the FCS' top-10 in three categories, including completions per game (24.7, 4th), passing yards (800, 8th), total offense (301.3, 9th).
• Campbell is 6-11 all-time in conference openers (4-4 at home), and is seeking its first win open conference play since 2022 (W 34-28 vs. Charleston Southern, Big South Conference). The Camels are 0-3 in CAA openers (0-1 at home).
• Campbell's September 26 game against Hampton will mark the 200th game in the program's modern history. The team's season opener was the 100th road game in program history, while the November 7 Stony Brook game will be the Camels' 100th home game.
• Saturday's game will also mark the 150^th Campbell football game on the call for the "Voice of the Camels," Chris Hemeyer. Hemeyer came to Buies Creek in 2011.
• Campbell is in its 19th season of its modern era of football (since 2008) in 2026, its fourth year as a member of the CAA.
• The Fighting Camels under third year head coach Braxton Harris return six full-time starters on the offensive side of the ball, and four on defense from 2025. Harris is the third head coach in Campbell's modern history.
• The 2026 Campbell team features 44 total returners and 62 newcomers, including 34 freshmen and 28 transfers.
• Campbell and ETSU are meeting for the first time on the football field, one of three first-time opponents on the Camels' 2026 schedule (Florida, UAlbany).

The Camels will head back on the road for a CAA matchup at Hampton on September 26. Campbell will then take on North Carolina Central on the road on October 3 before returning home on October 17 for Homecoming, battling Towson at Barker-Lane Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT
Florida posted 281 first half yards and Vernell Brown III returned a pair of punts for touchdowns in the second quarter, leading Florida over visiting Campbell, 52-3, at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Saturday's attendance of 88,863 at The Swamp marked the largest crowd Campbell has ever played in front of at any venue in its history, surpassing last season's game at NC State (56,919, 10/4/25).

Brown posted back-to-back punt returns for TDs of 64 and 70 yards, totaling 173 punt return yards on four attempts on the night, adding three catches for 43 yards. Jadan Baugh also rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns, while Dallas Wilson caught five passes for 104 yards and a score for the Gators.

Aaron Philo, meanwhile, completed 16-of-21 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns. Myles Graham led the Florida defense with seven tackles, including 1.0 stop for loss and a forced fumble.
Campbell limited Florida to seven points in the second half after the 35-point second quarter.

Kamden Sixkiller completed 16-of-30 passes for 127 yards for the Camels, while Stevie Keener grabbed two catches for 57 yards, both coming on the opening drive of the game.

The Camels' opening drive, which ended in a 29-yard Alex Crabb field goal, went seven plays for 63 yards, including the two Keener catches totaling 24 and 33 yards to set up the score.
Campbell has scored in each of its opening drives this season.

LEADING THE CAMELS
Through three games, Campbell quarterback Kamden Sixkiller has thrown for 800 yards and four touchdowns, also rushing for three scores. The Week 1 FCS national offensive player of the week ranks among the FCS' top-10 in three categories, including completions per game (24.7, 4th), passing yards (800, 8th), total offense (301.3, 9th).

JJ Cowan has rushed for a team-high 128 yards, while Spencer Jones has hauled in 15 catches for 203 yards and a TD. Defensively, Charles Battaglia has totaled 20 tackles with a forced fumble, while AJ Benton has tallied 16 stops, including 1.0 sack and two pass breakups.
